This policy explains what personal data Broadcastle collects when you use our multistreaming service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Broadcastle website and the Broadcastle dashboard.

1. Who we are

Broadcastle is a hosted multistreaming service operated from Quebec, Canada. Broadcastle is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

For any question or request about your data, write to support@broadcastle.io. Our support inbox is hosted by Proton Mail.

4. Who we share your data with

We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf:

The streaming platforms you connect (Twitch, YouTube, Kick and others) receive the video, titles and chat activity you choose to publish to them. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it when the law requires us to, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@broadcastle.io. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. You can also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority — in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec; in the European Economic Area, the supervisory authority of your country.

7. International transfers

Your account data and our control plane are hosted by Hetzner in the European Union (Germany). The live video you stream is processed by regional servers that may be located in Canada, the European Union or the United States, close to where you stream from, and is not retained after your stream ends. Some of our providers — Stripe, PayPal and SMTP2Go — process data in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or Canada, these providers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised by the applicable law.

8. Security

Connections to Broadcastle are encrypted in transit. Sensitive records such as platform tokens and stream keys are encrypted at rest, and payment details never reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language and, if you accept, Google Analytics cookies. See our Cookie policy for the full list.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
